Service terms

These terms apply to personalized travel research and itinerary planning provided by China, Thoughtfully. Your written proposal forms part of these terms and will confirm the specific scope, price and delivery date.

Agreement and payment

The planning scope, fee, expected delivery date and included revision are confirmed in writing before payment. Work begins after payment and on or after the agreed planning start date.

What the service provides

The service provides consultation, travel research, route strategy and a personalized itinerary document. Recommendations are intended to help clients plan and book an independent trip.

Bookings and third parties

Clients make and pay for all hotel, ticket, transport, guide and activity bookings themselves. The service does not act as a travel agency, sell packages, operate tours or collect supplier payments. We are not responsible for the availability, acts or performance of third-party providers.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate trip information, reviewing recommendations, checking passport and entry requirements, making bookings and confirming time-sensitive information before travel.

Delivery and feedback

The first itinerary is delivered by the date stated in the written proposal, provided the client supplies requested information on time. Delays in client responses may affect the delivery date.

Revision

One overall revision is included unless the written proposal states otherwise. The revision covers reasonable adjustments to the agreed route and preferences. New destinations, changed dates or significant scope changes may require an additional quote.

Changes and accuracy

Opening hours, entry rules, prices, transport schedules and local conditions may change. Recommendations are prepared using information reasonably available at the time, but clients must verify time-sensitive details before booking and travel.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy, which explains the stages before work begins, after work begins and after delivery.

Use of the itinerary

The itinerary is provided for the client's personal, non-transferable use. It may be shared with members of the same travel party, but it may not be resold, republished or used commercially without written permission.

Limitation

Travel decisions and bookings remain the client's responsibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not responsible for indirect losses, missed transport, closures, weather, illness, visa or entry issues, or third-party changes outside our control.
